以前のブログにも記載したが、Wix上では360パノラマツアーの作成は困難と判断し、WordPressをベースにした構築をしてきた。しかし、利用し始めたWordPress.comでは結局Garden Gnomeの出力ファイルを途中から受け付けなくなり、現在、更新できない至っている。Garden Gnomeのサイトでは、WordPress.orgをベースにしたホスティングのみを作動保証すると明言した。全くおかしなことだが、WordPress.comでは当初規模の大きなツアーも受け付けていたのに、現在では単独の360パノラマも更新できなくなっている。 そこで、今回このWixにて360パノラマの機能を再度チェックしたところ、新しいPlugInで単独の360パノラマだけでなく、ツアー、ホットスポットなどの設定も可能になっていることが判明した。残念ながら、Pano2VRの出力ファイルであるggpkgを受け付けてはいないので、パノラマ写真をアップロードし、そこにホットスポットなどを付加する作業が発生することにはなるが、従来の資産を有効に利用できるため、当初計画を変更しWix側に徐々に移動して（戻して）いくことにした。 作業的に、かなりの労力が必要になるので時間はかかることが予想されるが、慌てずに作業をしておこうと考えている。実際に八ヶ岳のデータをいじってみたが、柔軟性も非常にあり、快適な環境になったと考えている。なお、Panoraxのブランド名をどの様に利用するかも別途、検討している。

この１週間ほど、WordPressから360度パノラマツアーを再現できるプラグインGarden Gnome Packageについて調べてきた。特にWordPressをインストール可能なウェブホスティングを調査し、２、３その候補を見つけ出すことができた。一方、WordPress.comのサイトは本日になって、このプラグインが正常に作動する様になり、びっくりした。そこで、現在のファイルより大きな1GBの別のパノラマツアーをアップロードして動作確認を行った結果、これも正常に作動することが判明した。反応時間も迅速で、操作ストレスがない。これによって、WordPress.comを継続利用することも選択肢の一つとなった。

WordPress環境を提供するいわゆる「WordPressホスティング」と言うサービスがある。Wordpress側からも推奨されているものがある。bluehostやHostingerなどである。WordPress .orgでは、セルフホストと言ってユーザ側がサーバーを用意しなくてはならないが、ひょっとするとbluehostやHostingerはそれを提供してくれるのかもしれない。この方面の調査を行っていきたいと考えている。

この約１週間、「360パノラマツアーをWordPressでウェブ発信するまで」をテーマに調査をしてきた。作日、一定の結論に至ったので、それを記すことにする。一言で言えば、Garden Gnome Softwareからのggpkgファイルを扱えるのは、WordPressではWordPress.orgであって、WordPress.comではできないということである。これは、Garden Gnome Softwareから明示された。WordPress.comをターゲットにしてきた私としては残念と言うことではある。このWordPress.orgはセルフホストを条件としており、利用者側がサーバーを立てる必要があるといういうことである。逆に、WordPress .orgからセルフホストをして立ち上げれば、実現可能と言うことである。 ある施設と進めているパノラマツアーのウェブ展開作成は、「セルフホストしているウェブ管理会社と組んで構築し、その360パノラマツアーの生成までは当方の責任で行っていく」との方針が明確になった。 蛇足ですが、WordPress.comのサポートによれば、WordPress用のプラグインは元々セルフインストール型のWordPress.orgサイトのために作られたものであり、WordPress.comサイトで必ず問題なく利用いただけるかは確約できないとのことであった。ただ、ここのサポートは非常に協力的で（当然ではあるが）、当方の希望はよく理解してくれ、できる限りのサポートをしてくれると言うことなので、もう少しがんばってみたいと思います。　　　コメント大歓迎です。

かねてより、博物館での360パノラマ写真のツアー作成に挑戦したいと思っていました。それが、狭山市立博物館で実現し、一部をストリートビューで皆さんにご紹介できるようになりました。博物館の皆さんには、大変積極的にご協力いただきました。ありがとうございました。現在、次のステージに向かって作業を継続しています。

従来のドローンに搭載されていたカメラは、基本的に機体下部あるいは前方に登載されていたため、360度パノラマを作成する際に天頂部に空白ができてしまっていた。そのため、Photoshopなどで天頂部の「背景塗りつぶし」処理を行う必要が生じていた。しかし、最近は天頂方向にカメラを向けることのできる機体が発売されている。例えば、Parrot ANAFIは、機体前方に180度回転ジンバルを登載して、天頂だけでなく天底方向にカメラを向けられ2100万画素の写真（4K HDRビデオ）を撮影できる様になっている。これにより、パーフェクトな空中360度パノラマが生成可能になった。なお、画角がワイドで84度と現存するドローンの中では上限の広角なので効率的なパノラマ撮影が可能である。 Since cameras of conventional drones have been installed on lower or ahead of the airframe, we could not capture the sky above the drone (zenith part) in 360 panorama shooting. So, we had to proceed to fill the blank area of the image using a Content-Aware Fill function in Photoshop. However, the latest drone such as Parrot ANAFI has wide-angle camera mounted on a "gimbal" stabilized on 3 axes and it made possible to take pictures a vertical tilt of -90 to +90 degrees with the high resolution of 21MP photos. Eventually, this enabled us to capture photos covering 360 degree panorama surrounding the drone and to increase its productivity of panorama photo shooting.
