雲の写真（雲模様）は、cloudscapeと呼ばれている。Mark Schenker氏の記載” Cloudscape Photography: Exploring the Limitlessness of the Sky ” では、Cloudscapeについて述べている。米国の写真家であるAlfred Stieglitz氏は20世紀初頭の一連の雲撮影技術は、革新的なものだったと次の様に述べている;

Cloud's photography is sometimes called ”cloudscape". Mark Schenker noted the cloudscape at the article of ”Cloudscape Photography: Exploring the Limitlessness of the Sky ”.
